A Note From Laverne
Dancing is my first love. I started dancing at age 3. ( I was so shy and attached to my mother, she needed to get me out of her way once in a while. ) I was the worst dancer in the class all that time, but I enjoyed it so much I didn't care -- until I was about 12 years old, changed teachers, and really learned to dance. I took a little time out to get married and have four children, but have been dancing ever since. I forced each of my children to dance with me as soon as they could walk, and none of them are dancers now!!
I want to thank all the dancers for their hard work in getting the dances ready; and I hope everyone in the audience will enjoy all the dance routines in this 2004 production of Broadway Fantasies.
